LYNCH AMBULANCE HISTORY

Lynch Ambulance was founded by Walter Lynch, Sr. in August of 1986. Mr. Lynch, a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy, recognized a need for inter-facility transportation of patients. Patients that were requiring transportation to another facility were often waiting for an ambulance for extended periods of time. Thus, the idea for Lynch Ambulance was born.

In August 1986, Walter and his son, Walter Jr., made the step into the EMS industry. Walter Jr. was working as an EMT in San Luis Obispo County and had the experience to start the organization. The Lynch family purchased two ambulances and the calls started coming into their home office/ station.

Soon after that the business grew. From those humble beginnings in 1986, Lynch Ambulance has grown to be the 3rd largest ambulance provider in Orange County. We have over 40 ambulances in our fleet and in 2001 we expanded our operation into Riverside County in the City of Hemet.

Lynch Ambulance has built this organization on providing the best customer service in the industry.
