Two strike teams of ambulances were deployed from our Anaheim offices to support the fire operations in San Diego County.
On Monday October 22, 2007, Lynch Ambulance responded to a call for assistance in San Diego County. Two strike teams of ambulances (11 total) responded to San Diego, arriving at the Del Mar Fairgrounds staging area. Both team immediately commenced operations and assisted in moving medical patients from evacuation centers to healthcare facilities out of the fire zone. Our 2 strike teams continued operations in the San Diego area until Saturday October 27 when both teams were de-mobilized and were able to return home. Our ambulances transported a large number of patients during the evacuation and re-patriation operations.
The Management of Lynch Ambulance would like to congratulate the members of our strike teams on their participation in this operation and for their hard work during a time of great crisis.
We also send our condolences to the citizens of San Diego on their losses.
Lynch Ambulance is proud of the fact that we were able to assist in this time of need.
